Once upon a time, I was working a "regular" job, living a semi-normal life and I was pretty happy and definitely blessed....but I didn't love what I was doing. When I found something that I loved and realized I could make a living doing it, it took a lot of courage for me to do what I had to in order to make my dreams a reality...but it was so totally worth it. That's why I'm so passionate about helping women just like YOU, who were (or maybe still are) in the same shoes as I was. I know how hard it can be to look at where you are and try to imagine a different reality. But I'm here to tell you that achieving your dreams is possible, and I say the bigger the dreams, the better! It won't happen on accident or magic. It will take some effort and work on your part, and more than a little bit of Jesus.
But, if you show up ready to do what it takes, I have every belief that you can make your dreams a reality by following these 5 simple steps.
1. Know what you want
One of the biggest parts of making your dreams a reality is knowing what they are to begin with! So often I find that people are afraid to dream, or don't take the time to really zero in on what exactly their dreams are. If you want God to do amazing things in and through your life, you need to open yourself up to dreaming girlfriend! Take some time to get inspired and sit down to write out exactly what your dreams are. (I've got you a prize at the end that will help.)
Get as specific as possible. The more specific you are, the easier it will be to figure out how to get where you want to go and when you've arrived there. Think about this: you'd never set out on a road trip without knowing what your end destination is, right? Figure out what the destination looks like for you.
2. Figure out how to get there
Next, you want to take some time to find the gap between where you are right now and where you want to be. What needs to happen to make your dream come true? Decide what needs to be done, in what order and along what timeframe. Again, the more specific you are here, the more likely you'll be to actually achieve these steps and make your dreams a reality, instead of getting stuck in the dreaming stage. Start at your end destination and figure out what the big milestones are that need to be accomplished on your way. Then break those down into smaller action steps that you can show up and focus on each and every day.
3. Pray about it
Don't forget this key ingredient! God doesn't want us living life and pursuing the dreams He's given us in our own strength (and why would we want to anyway?!) Spend some time going to Him with your dreams and letting him guide and direct you through the process.
You'll have so much more peace and confidence as you move forward, rather than trying to stubbornly plow ahead on your own. He's ready and waiting to bless you and your endeavors - all you have to do is ask!
4. Take action
You've probably heard the saying "dreams don't work, unless you do" so, your next step is to show up and do the work! Decide you're going to do something every single day to move you closer toward your dreams and goals, no matter how big or small. And remember: you will fall flat on your face at times. That's completely normal, and shouldn't shake your confidence. View every mistake or mishap as a learning lesson, not an excuse to give up. Persevere and eventually, your dreams will become your reality.

5. Celebrate your progress
Don't forget to stop and celebrate every bit of progress along your journey toward your dreams. Progress has a way of creating momentum, and that momentum is what will keep you moving in the right direction. It is what will give you the drive to keep going. That, and making sure to stay connected to the strength of Jesus! Celebrate all your wins, big and small, every single day. It will help make the journey toward achieving your dreams even sweeter.
