Well, I can hardly believe it y'all, but spring is just right around the corner! Seriously - where did the last few months go?!

If you're anything like me, when this time of year rolls around you start thinking about freshening things up a bit - in both life and business.

The warmer temperatures, pretty blooms and fresh air get us all ready to come out of hibernation and get refreshed after a long, dreary winter.

Something I love to do around this time of year is spend some time "spring cleaning" my business. Now I know you've probably always thought spring cleaning was just meant for the house, but I'm here to tell you there are several things in your business that could probably stand to be refreshed

The list is honestly probably endless, but here are just a handful of ways you can dig in and get intentional about tidying things up in your business right away!

PS: I am going to be hosting a FREE 5-day challenge called "Spring Clean Your Business" beginning on Monday, March 20th (the first day of spring!) Be sure to get yourself signed up below and join in on the fun!

1. Workspace

As I'm sure you know it can be extremely easy to let our desk or workspace get downright out of control messy! But several studies have shown that physical clutter contributes to mental clutter, stress and lack of focus....none of which we want when running our empires! Now's the time to dig in, put stuff where it belongs, throw things out that you don't need and maybe even freshen up your decor a bit to keep you feeling inspired when you sit down to work.

2. Schedule

Calendar clutter can have very similar effects on us to physical clutter and is something we need to address. we live in a culture that glorifies the pursuit of "busy" which means you'll need to be really purposeful about what you're saying yes to. Take a look at your calendar and see where you could spring clean a few things right off of it to free you up to focus on the things that matter most.

3. Workflows

Y'all, I've just got to tell you - I don't know how I've gone my whole life (and most of my business!) without having well ironed-out workflows. They are a serious game changer and recently I've found an amazing new tool that I know will make setting up and utilizing effective workflows in my business so. much. easier. Be sure to sign up for next week's FREE 5-Day "Spring Clean Your Business" Challenge to learn more about this tool and how you can incorporate it into your business.

4. Website + Social Media

Our websites and social media platforms are the kinds of things that are easy to "set and forget"....without regularly revisiting to make sure that everything is in its proper place, things are linked up correctly, photos are up-to-date, etc. Just like us Southern gals know how important it is to have our face made up before going out on a date, it's important to remember that your website and social media profiles need to look their best at all times.

5. Technology

Last but not least, let's talk about spring cleaning our electronics and technology! Nowadays most people live, breathe and die by their electronics and technology. I know I would be pretty lost without a lot of mine! Because of this, it's easy to accidentally accrue unnecessary apps, software of subscription services that we don't really need or use regularly. Things like that take up time and space in our lives, so it's important to make sure that what we have is useful...and that we are, in fact, using them!
